The Dreampire team organised an exhibition series during 2015 in Lisbon, where I had the chance to present 3 episodes of animated dreams.
Linda Koncz, a member of the team was recording hundreds of people from Hungary, Portugal and Indonesia, who shared their dreams with her in front of the camera. She asked Lisbon-based artists to visualise these recorded dreams in paintings, drawings, dance, plays or animations.
During my stay in Lisbon, I participated in this project 3 times, and have created 3 short animated videos, inspired by Lisbon dreams.
The adaptations premiered in LX Factory in Lisbon, on 22nd of May and 6th of November. Later on, the exhibition was displayed in other galleries as well.
Episode 2, a child's dream was part of the Dreampire Theatrical Play, which premiered in Prague on 26th of June 2015.
The videos are either in English, or in Hungarian with English subtitles.
